A dispute over just two decimals of land in Barahi Ward No. 7 of Tariyani police station area of Bihar’s Sheohar took a painful turn on Sunday. A two-and-a-half-year-old girl was killed in the dispute. It is alleged that after the dispute, a woman from the opposition side attacked the two-and-a-half-year-old girl with a brick. The seriously injured girl died on the way to Muzaffarpur for treatment. After the incident, there was chaos in the family.
According to the information, Dinbandhu Kumar, a resident of Barahi Ward No. 7, was having a dispute with the family of Surendra Rai and Nand Kishore Rai about two decimals of land. An FIR was lodged by Dinbandhu Kumar and his wife Rinki Kumari at Tariyani police station in connection with the case. According to the family, when they reached home after lodging the FIR, Renu Devi, a woman from the opposition side, attacked their younger daughter with a brick.
Died on way to Muzaffarpur
The girl was seriously injured in the attack with a brick. The family rushed him to Sheohar Sadar Hospital for treatment. In view of the serious condition of the child, the doctors referred her to SKMCH, Muzaffarpur for better treatment after first aid.
The family was taking the girl to Muzaffarpur for treatment. During this time, he died on the way. As soon as the news of the girl’s death was received, there was an outcry in the family. After this, the family took the body directly to the Tariyani police station and pleaded for justice.
The police sent the body for post-mortem.
After receiving information about the incident, Tariyani police station in-charge Abhishek Kumar Gupta took possession of the body of the girl and sent it to Sadar Hospital Sheohar for post-mortem. The police have registered an FIR and are investigating the matter. An FSL team has also been called to the spot, which is collecting necessary evidence from the spot.
The police had reached the spot after receiving information about the land dispute and the matter was pacified, the SHO said. Shortly after, the girl was reported to have been attacked. The police are investigating all aspects from the land dispute to the attack on the girl. The FSL team is also investigating the spot and collecting evidence.

After the death of the child, her mother Rinki Kumari is in a bad condition crying. He alleged that his innocent daughter was attacked with a brick, after which she died. The whole family is in shock due to the death of the daughter. The family has demanded the police and administration to investigate the matter impartially and arrest the accused soon and take strict legal action.
The father of the deceased, Dinbandhu Kumar, said that there was a dispute with the family of Surendra Rai and Nand Kishore Rai over about two decimals of land. They allege that the girl was attacked due to this dispute. At present, the police are investigating the entire matter and further action will be taken after the post-mortem report and FSL investigation.
