Patna: An employee of the Sun Hospital in Kumhrar in Bihar’s capital Patna died under suspicious circumstances. The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Raju, a resident of Katihar district. He was working as a ward boy in this hospital. There was a stir after his body was found hanging in the hospital premises. As soon as the incident was reported, there was an atmosphere of chaos between the hospital management and the staff.
What is the whole matter?
According to the information, Raju used to work in Sun Hospital. His body was found hanging in the hospital premises on Tuesday. The matter was then reported to the local police. On receiving the information, the police of Agamkuan police station reached the spot and took stock of the spot. The police took the body in their possession and sent it to Nalanda Medical College for post-mortem.
The cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
The circumstances under which the 22-year-old hospital worker died were not immediately clear. Prima facie, the police are investigating all aspects considering the incident as suspicious. The police are trying to find out whether the young man committed suicide or there is some other reason behind his death. However, it would not be appropriate to come to any conclusion about the cause of death before the investigation is completed.
Based on the questioning of other staff working in the hospital in connection with the incident and investigation of facts related to the incident, the police can take further action. The post-mortem report is also expected to help ascertain the cause of death.

Police investigating the case
At present, the Agamkuan police station is investigating the case. Only after the post-mortem report, available evidence and investigation, it will be clear the circumstances under which 22-year-old Raju died. Sub-inspector Deepak Kumar, posted at Agam Kuan police station in Patna, said that the body of Deepak Kumar has been sent to Nalanda Medical College for post-mortem. CCTV footage installed in the hospital is being scanned and the family members are being questioned.
