When Lord Ganesha became the author of Mahabharata: Lessons of the story- If you want success in life, first set goals and then do not rest until the work is done

Lord Ganesha is the first worshipper and is also called the god of wisdom, wisdom as well as accomplishment. There is also a story related to Ganpati ji, which teaches us the formulas to succeed in life. It is believed that when Maharishi Ved Vyas was composing the Mahabharata, he needed a writer who would write the entire story as soon as he spoke. At that time, Vyas ji remembered Lord Ganesha, when Lord Vyas appeared in front of Vyas ji, then requested him to write the Mahabharata.

Ganesha was ready, but he put a condition that Ved Vyas does not have to stop anywhere while narrating the story, he will have to keep speaking continuously. If they stop in between, Ganesha will stop writing. After this, Vedavyas also put a condition that Ganesha would write it only after understanding the meaning of each verse.

In this way, a wonderful rapport was created between the two. Vedavyas continued to recite shlokas and Ganesha kept writing them with full concentration and speed. When Vedavyas used to recite difficult and profound verses, Ganesha used to take time to understand their meaning. During this time, Vyas ji used to get an opportunity to think further verses, that is, both of them completed this work using their respective abilities.

Lessons of the Narrative

  • If you want success in life, set goals first

The objective was very clear in front of Ganesha ji and Vyas ji – to document the Mahabharata. Both of them did not rest until this work was completed and completed the goal of writing Mahabharata with mutual coordination. We should also first set a goal to make life successful and not rest until the work is done.

  • Along with speed, understanding is also important

Just writing fast is not good writing ability. Vyas ji had put a condition in front of Ganesh ji to understand everything and write it. We should also move forward with speed as well as understanding the work when we have to do any work. Only then can the work be easily completed.

  • Make concentration your strength

It is difficult to maintain focus on the same work for a long time, but Ganesha ji did the work of writing and Vyas ji did the work of speaking Mahabharata with full concentration, that is why Mahabharata could be composed so well. We should also maintain concentration until the work is done.

  • Break down difficult tasks into smaller chunks

A huge book like Mahabharata could not be completed in a day. Dividing the big goal into smaller chunks makes the job seem easier and keeps on making progress.

  • Understand the Power of Collaboration

This story of Vyas ji and Ganesh ji tells that people with different abilities can do great work together. Even in life, the right allies and the right communication make the path to success easier. We should find people around us who can help us and should not hesitate to seek help.
