Woman dies during treatment
After the incident, there was panic among the people around. The people present at the spot immediately tried to save the woman and extinguished the fire by pouring water on her. The woman was taken to the Civil Hospital in Sector-6 for treatment. Due to the seriousness of the woman’s condition, the doctors referred her to PGI Chandigarh. He died during treatment there.
Fire breaks out in shoe showroom, 3 bodies recovered
A few months ago, a massive fire broke out in a shoe showroom in the busy market located at D-Park in Rohtak, Haryana. The flames engulfed about 10 to 12 nearby shops. The charred bodies of three people were recovered in the accident, while the rescue operation continued for hours amid fears that many others were trapped. The deceased were identified as Kapil, Aman and Saurabh. Saurabh was the owner of the showroom, while Kapil and Aman worked in the shop.
It was reported that the fire broke out after the AC compressor exploded in the midst of the scorching heat, which engulfed the entire showroom in a short time. Due to shoes and other inflammable items kept in the showroom, the fire spread rapidly and reached nearby shops. In view of the seriousness of the incident, fire brigade vehicles were called from other districts besides Rohtak. NDRF teams were also deployed at the spot. The fire was brought under control after about six hours of effort.
