Congress alleges that many MLAs suffered injuries

Leader of Opposition in the Assembly and former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has shared some pictures and videos of the foot march on the X handle, in which the police are seen trying to stop the MLAs by barricading. Hooda said that today on the first day of the monsoon session of the Haryana Assembly, we raised our voice by marching on foot against the theft of Ram temple offerings and the brutality of students at Jantar Mantar during the NEET movement, during which the police barricaded the place and used force to stop the MLAs. Govt sent goons in police uniform: Hooda

In another post, Hooda said, “I strongly condemn this repressive action of the government. Whether it is Jantar Mantar or Vidhan Sabha March, every citizen and public representative of the country has the constitutional right to express his views. Any use of force against them is anti-Constitution and anti-democratic.The way the police were pushing and shoving with me and other MLAs, it was as if the government had sent goons in police uniform,” he said.

Bhupinder Singh Hooda said on X that today proved to be a ‘black day’ for the Constitution and democracy. The government should stop running the House on the strength of police and lathis. Insulting the representatives elected by the people is a direct insult to the people of Haryana. The BJP government in Haryana today left no stone unturned to strangle the Constitution and democracy of the country. The elected representatives of the people of Haryana were also forcibly prevented from entering the Vidhan Sabha building. There was no immediate reaction from the government and the BJP to the allegations.
