Names not included in the list of Rajya Sabha candidates
There is talk that he has made up his mind to leave the Bharatiya Janata Party after being saddened by the list. And soon he may join another party. However, there is still suspense over the whole matter as to what is their real motive behind this message. Speculations are also rife that he may soon meet the top leadership of the Samajwadi Party or any other major party.
Daughter Kirti Kashyap tries to move forward
Dharmendra Kashyap, originally from Kandharpur and active in politics for a long time, was trying to promote his daughter Kirti Kashyap in politics. There was talk that he was claiming a Rajya Sabha ticket for his daughter and he had worked hard for it. But as soon as the list of Rajya Sabha came, there are reports of him being hurt when he gets disappointed. It is believed that after the release of this list, he shared this post.

Dharmendra Kashyap joins SP from BSP and then BJP
Dharmendra Kashyap was first elected as an MLA in 2002 on a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) ticket. In 2003, he joined the Samajwadi Party (SP) and became a minister of state. In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, he lost to BJP candidate Maneka Gandhi from Aonla (Bareilly) seat by a narrow margin. He then joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and was elected MP on a BJP ticket in 2014 and 2019. However, in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, he lost to Samajwadi Party candidate Neeraj Maurya by 15,970 votes. Since losing the election, he was constantly active to establish his daughter in politics.
After “Tata Bye-Bye” was written on Facebook, reactions from supporters and local leaders have also started coming out. Many supporters have shared posts accusing the BJP leadership of neglect. One supporter wrote, “Those who are already ministers have been made Rajya Sabha candidates again and grassroots leaders have been ignored. If this situation continues, then in 2027, the party will have to suffer losses in all the 9 assembly seats of Bareilly.
I didn’t look into my eyes, I didn’t look into my heart.
The former MP recited a couplet and said, “I have never seen the sea in my eyes, I have never seen the sea.” I’ve had my eyes on the floor since I left, and I’ve never seen a milestone. Now let’s decide on the supporters. There is a huge number of supporters. I will call a meeting, after that whatever will be decided will come in front of you, we are going to call a meeting very soon. He said that he has nothing to do with the Rajya Sabha. Tickets will be available from wherever you want. It will be decided at the supporters’ meeting.
He said that if those who contested the 2024 elections and openly opposed me sit in the front row, then it will definitely hurt. If the party does not take any action on such people, the party will not express any concern, then it becomes natural for a person like us to say Tata-bye-bye. I am calling a meeting of supporters because it is not that I have supporters only in Lok Sabha or Vidhan Sabha. I have supporters all over the Mandal district. So, I am calling everyone and holding a meeting, I will take their opinion and then I will take a decision. Very soon everything will be in front of you.
