UP Political News: In the politics of Uttar Pradesh, the murmur about Mission 2027 has intensified. BJP’s new president Nitin Naveen has already made it clear that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be the face of the party. Meanwhile, a new survey of Dainik Bhaskar has come out, in which the opinion of the public has been asked on all 403 seats of Uttar Pradesh. This survey is indicating that if elections are held today, then Yogi Adityanath may return to Uttar Pradesh once again, although the BJP’s coalition parties may have to face heavy losses.
Key figures of the survey, who has how many seats?
According to the survey by Dainik Bhaskar, the party situation in the 403-seat assembly is likely to be as follows:
- BJP: 256 seats (02 seats loss compared to the last election)
- Samajwadi Party (SP): 135 seats (big gain of 28 seats)
- RLD: 04 seats (loss of 05 seats)
- Apna Dal (S): 03 seats (huge loss of 10 seats)
- Nishad Party: 01 seat (loss of 04 seats)
- Jansatta Dal Loktantrik (JDL): 01 seat (loss of 01 seat)
- Congress: 02 seats (no change)
- BSP: 01 seat (no change)
- Subhaspa (SBSP): 00 seats (complete loss of 06 seats)
Big blow to BJP’s allies
The most shocking thing in the survey is the performance of BJP’s allies (regional parties). According to the survey, Rajbhar’s party’s account is also not seen opening. He may lose all the seats compared to 6 MLAs last time. The Apna Dal (S) party with 13 MLAs seems to be coming down to just 3 seats. RLD, which is in alliance with the BJP, also seems to be losing 5 seats.
Akhilesh Yadav’s SP
The Samajwadi Party seems to be the biggest beneficiary in this survey. Under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav, the party seems to be reaching 135 seats, which is a big increase of 28 seats compared to the last election. According to the survey, Braj, Bundelkhand and Awadh are areas where the SP seems to be performing better than the BJP.
Where’s the heavier?
- Purvanchal: Both the BJP and the SP seem to be strengthening their position here, but the regional parties are suffering.
- West UP: The BJP seems to be making an advance in this area, while the SP is expected to suffer losses here.
- Raja Bhaiya (Kunda): Raghuraj Pratap Singh seems to be winning his Kunda seat, but his party’s second seat (Babaganj) seems to be slipping.
The survey clearly points to the return of the Yogi Adityanath government for the third time, but Akhilesh Yadav’s stature as an opposition and the SP’s seats are growing rapidly. However, the distribution of tickets and the final strategies of the alliance are yet to be decided, which can change the equation in the coming time.
