THE recent incidents of suicides at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra, have sent shockwaves through the academic community and raised serious concerns over mental health and mounting pressures on students. Following the spate of suicides, the NIT has started a mentorship programme and provide counselling to the students in stress.
