Navratri Durga Visarjan Vidhi: During the nine days of Sharadiya Navratri, nine forms of Maa Durga are worshipped. On these days, devotees keep fast and worship with rituals to get the blessings of the mother. How to do Maa Durga Visarjan at home?
The immersion of Goddess Durga at home can be done with rituals and in a very simple way. If you are not able to float the idol in the river or pond, then immerse it at home with this easy method.

Last Puja of Maa Durga: On the day of Dashami, take a bath in the morning and light a lamp and incense in front of Maa Durga’s chowki.
Offer flowers, akshat (rice), vermilion, red chunari and fruits and sweets to the mother. You can also offer offerings of halwa, puri, kheer, etc.
Pray to the mother to come again next year: After this, take some rice and flowers in your hand and pray to the mother for immersion and come again next year.
Aarti and Mantra Recitation: Perform the aarti of Maa Durga. Before immersion, recite this mantra with flowers and akshat (rice) in hand:
गच्छ गच्छ सुरश्रेष्ठे स्वस्थानं परमेश्वरि. पूजाराधनकाले च पुनरागमनाय च॥
Shake the Kalash slightly: After the mantra, shake the Kalash or Ghat slightly from its place or move it to the side. It is considered a symbol of immersion.
Immersion of clay idol: If you have installed a small clay idol, then immerse it gently at home by filling it with pure water in a large pot or bucket. When the idol is completely dissolved in water, put that water in the soil of a pot or plant.
If you do not want to dissolve the idol or have installed a picture, then you can also keep the picture at your place of worship.

What to do after Durga immersion?
Coconut: Remove the coconut placed on top of the urn and distribute it to all the family members as prasad.

Spraying water: Sprinkle the remaining holy water in the urn with the help of mango leaves or flowers throughout the house and all the rooms. This maintains positivity in the house.

Coin and Puja Materials: Remove the coins kept inside the Kalash and keep it in your safe or purse. Immerse the rest of the betel nut, cloves or other worship material near a pot or tree.

Jowar: The sorghum that was grown should be kept respectfully near a temple or Peepal or Banyan tree.
