A 32-year-old man, who had come for a walk with friends on Sunday evening, jumped inside the dam from the 30-feet high boundary wall to make a video. The young man expected him to fall into the water, but due to the low water below, he fell straight to the ground. Both his legs were broken in the accident. The injured youth has been taken out with the help of friends and police and admitted to a private hospital.

According to the information, Pushpendra Kumar, son of Rajkumar, a resident of Parwai village in Raxa police station area, had reached Pahuj Dam with many of his friends on Sunday. It is being told that friends were making Instagram reels there. Meanwhile, Pushpendra reached the view point on the left side of the dam, while his friends started making a video of him from the other side. Pushpendra climbed the boundary wall and jumped inside the dam from a height of about 30 feet without seeing the situation below. Even the friends making the video probably had no idea that the next moment this stunt would turn into an accident.
Where there was less water, it fell, hence the injury
After jumping, instead of going into the water, Pushpendra fell in a part where the water was very low. He was seriously injured as he fell to the ground. He suffered injuries to both his legs and could not get out of there himself. After the accident, there was panic among the friends present on the spot. It is being told that one of the friends making the video also said in a panic that “God bless his soul…” However, despite the condition of the young man being serious, his life was saved.
The police reached the spot and took him out and took him to the hospital
As soon as the accident was reported, Grassland outpost in-charge Ranvijay Singh reached the spot along with the police force. The police pulled the injured youth out of the dam and arranged to take him to the hospital. After this, friends admitted him to a private hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. On receiving information about the accident, Pushpendra’s family members also reached the hospital.
