A well has been discovered beneath the mosque that was bulldozed last Saturday in the Saharanpur Collectorate complex in Uttar Pradesh. The debris has now been completely cleared. Meanwhile, politics continues to swirl over the demolition of the 70-year-old illegal mosque. Everyone from the Samajwadi Party and the Congress to the AIMIM has launched a campaign against the bulldozer action.
After removing the debris, a well was found under the structure.
SDM Sadar Subodh Kumar said of the demolition of an illegal mosque in the Saharanpur Collectorate after a well was discovered beneath the mosque’s structure, “We took this action in compliance with a court order. Meanwhile, a well was discovered here. The relevant agencies will investigate and determine its size.”
The structure of the well is made of bricks
SDM Sadar Subodh Kumar further stated that everything will become clear only after a technical team investigates. This is a well made of bricks and its structure is also made of bricks. At first glance, it appears to be a well.
On the other hand, the Samajwadi Party has launched a protest against the bulldozer action. A Samajwadi Party delegation will travel to Saharanpur on September 7th. The delegation will also visit the Collectorate, where the mosque was demolished. All leaders will first gather at the home of former MP Haji Fazlur Rahman and then proceed to the Collectorate.

It is noteworthy that Asaduddin Owaisi is also attacking the Yogi government over the Saharanpur mosque issue. Asaduddin Owaisi has alleged that the mosque was built before the Collectorate office was constructed, yet the Yogi government is demolishing mosques . Meanwhile, Congress MP Imran Masood once again claimed that the administration demolished the mosque in a hurry. He will appeal to the Supreme Court.
