Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) president and Union minister Chirag Paswan claimed before reporters in Patna on Monday that the people in Bengal are in a mood for change this time. On May four, the NDA is going to form the government in Bengal with a historic victory.
Responding to a question on Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary’s announcement to release the prohibition law implemented in Bihar, Chirag said the government needs to reform the liquor ban law. Where there are loopholes in the law, they will be removed. The thinking behind the law is not wrong, but there are problems in its implementation.
Chirag’s big statement on the liquor ban law
Chirag said that many houses have faced destruction due to the prohibition law. The government should seriously consider how to implement the law completely.
Chirag said that the government also needs to take effective steps on the way liquor is being imported and smuggled from the border areas.
‘Encroachment will not be tolerated’
On the ongoing bulldozer action in the state, he said that Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has already made it clear that any kind of encroachment will not be tolerated in the state. He said that action should be taken against all the illegal houses that have been constructed.
