Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, the rejuvenation of Patliputra Junction in Danapur Division is being done at a rapid pace. The station is set to be developed as an alternative to Patna Junction by equipping it with modern facilities.
According to railway officials, the Patliputra station will not only ease the mounting rail pressure of Patna city but will also strengthen the connectivity between north and south Bihar.
The station serves as a vital link between Danapur and Sonepur divisions, directly benefiting long-distance and daily commuters.
