A very sad and shocking news has come to light in Kalanaur police station of Rohtak district of Haryana, where a sub-inspector committed suicide by shooting himself with his own government revolver. The incident has caused a stir in the police department and there is an atmosphere of mourning in the entire area.

The deceased has been identified as Sub-Inspector Kuldeep, who was posted on ERV 594 and was working as an EASI. Kuldeep was originally a resident of Dighal village in Jhajjar district and was currently living in Kamla Nagar, Jhajjar Chungi area of Rohtak.
According to the information, Kuldeep had come to have dinner at Kalanaur police station on Monday (March 30). During this time, he went down to a side in the police station premises, where he shot himself in the head with his government revolver. As soon as the sound of firing was heard, there was chaos in the police station premises and the policemen reached the spot.
Under what circumstances did the sub-inspector take such a big step?
Immediately after the incident, Kuldeep was rushed to PGI Hospital in Rohtak where doctors declared him dead after examination. As soon as the tragic incident was reported, senior police officers also reached the spot and an investigation has been started into the matter.
The reason for the suicide is yet to be ascertained in the preliminary investigation. Police officials say that the case is being investigated from all angles and efforts are being made to find out under what circumstances the sub-inspector took such a big step.
There is a wave of mourning in the police department after the incident. Fellow policemen described Kuldeep as a hardworking and responsible officer. At the same time, the family has been informed about the incident and they are in a bad condition crying. At present, the police is seriously investigating the matter and further action is underway.
