A sensational case has come to light from Nuh district of Haryana. Here in the city police station area, a woman has made serious allegations of raping a young man on the pretext of marriage, blackmailing him by making objectionable videos and pressuring him to forcibly change religion. On the basis of the victim’s complaint, Nuh police have registered a case against the main accused, his brother and father under serious sections and started investigation.
According to the police, the victim is originally from West Bengal. In her complaint, she has stated that the accused youth trapped her in his love trap and made a false promise of marriage. The accused then made physical relations with her several times against her will.
Allegations of blackmailing and assault by making a video
Giving information about the case, DSP of Ferozepur Jhirka, Ajaib Singh, said that the victim has made many serious allegations in her complaint. The accused secretly made an objectionable video of the woman and started blackmailing her by threatening to make it viral. By showing the fear of the video, the accused was constantly pressuring the woman to convert. It has also been said in the complaint that the accused assaulted the woman and also extorted money from her by intimidation. This entire incident is said to have taken place between September last year and March 2026.
FIR registered under these sections
In view of the seriousness of the case, Nuh police have taken prompt action. DSP Ajaib Singh said that on the basis of the complaint of the victim, a named FIR has been registered against the main accused youth, one of his brothers and father. The police have registered a case in the case under relevant sections of the ‘Haryana Prohibition of Illegal Conversion Act 2022’ as well as the ‘Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita’ (BNS) related to rape, assault and blackmail.
At present, the police are investigating the case thoroughly keeping all aspects in mind and further legal action is being taken on the basis of the evidence collected.
