Sonipat Tower Incident: A strange and shocking case has come to light from Sonipat, Haryana, where a 56-year-old man has climbed the tower after being upset due to not getting married. After climbing about 160 feet, he sat on the tower and sat there for a long time. After seeing this case, there was a stir in the area.
According to the information, Jai Bhagwan (56), a resident of Jaji village in Sonipat, climbed the mobile tower on the roof of the DC office around 7 am on Thursday. He sat quietly on the tower for about two hours. At around 9 am, Navis, who was a roadside vendor, saw him climb the tower. After this, Navis immediately informed the police.
Sitting on the tower, he made a strange demand.
As soon as the information was received, the police officer reached the spot and started trying to bring him down. When the police asked him to get down, the man put his separate demands to come down in front of the police.
When the police asked about his problem, the man said, “I am hungry and first bring me milk, then I will come downstairs. After this, the police sent the packet of milk upstairs with the help of a rope. Even after drinking milk, he did not come down and was ready to come down after about three and a half hours.
He was upset about not getting married.
After coming down from the tower, Jai Bhagwan told his problem. He said that despite being 56 years old, he is not getting married. Because of this, he has been roaming around for the last two years. He further said that the rest of the people of the village are getting bachelor pension, but he has not yet got this facility.
Expressed displeasure over compensation
Jai Bhagwan also expressed his displeasure before the police over the matter related to his land, for which he was given a compensation of only Rs 90,000 for the installation of a tower on one acre of his land. Whereas now others are being given compensation up to one crore rupees, so I also get a compensation of one crore rupees.
Police officials say that Jai Bhagwan is addicted to drugs. Earlier, he had climbed a tower in Jaji village to protest about six years ago, where he stayed for about 14 days. At present, he has been safely brought down and the matter is being investigated.
