**Past Heads of Dera Radha Swami Satsang Beas**
Dera Radha Swami Satsang Beas has had several heads throughout its history. The Dera’s very first head was Jaimal Singh, who was entrusted with the leadership of the Dera in 1878. Subsequently, Sawan Singh was appointed as the head of the Dera. Sawan Singh assumed the mantle of leadership in 1903 and held the position for 45 years—until 1948. Following Sawan Singh, Jagat Singh was appointed as the head of the Dera. Jagat Singh held the seat of the Dera for only three years—from 1948 to 1951. Subsequently, the responsibility of leading the Dera was handed over to Charan Singh.
Charan Singh served as the Dera chief for 39 years, holding the position from 1951 to 1990. Following Charan Singh, Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon was appointed as the Dera chief. Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon has occupied the seat of the Dera from 1991 to the present day. However, Gurinder Singh Dhillon has now declared Jasdeep Singh Gill as his successor.
