The Muzaffarpur police have achieved a major success in the special operation being run against the illegal drug and drug trade. On the basis of secret information, the Gaighat police station took a big action and recovered a large quantity of smack. The police have arrested the siblings in connection with the case. SP Rural Rajesh Singh Prabhakar said that the police had received secret information that illegal drug smack was being sold from the house of Shiv Shankar Kumar and Anshu Kumari located in Hanuman Nagar village of Gaighat police station area. A team of Gaighat police station immediately raided the hideout. During a thorough search of the house, 2.435 kg of smack, Rs 2.10 lakh cash and four mobile phones kept in 2015 different packets were recovered.
The network of narcotics used to run from home
The police arrested Shiv Shankar Kumar and his sister Anshu Kumari from the spot. During interrogation, it was revealed that both the siblings used to sell smack in the house. The house itself was both his warehouse and a sales center. The police are now looking for the big suppliers and other links of this syndicate. The entire drug empire hidden inside an ordinary family, this story of Muzaffarpur is really goosebumps.
Further action is being taken by registering case number 300/26 at Gaighat police station. According to the police, the criminal history of the arrested accused is also being ascertained. Both are being sent to judicial custody.
The family has a criminal history, and the mother and wife have also gone to jail.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the family had a long-standing connection with drug trafficking.
