Samajwadi Party leader Rajan Rizvi has been arrested by the police in Mathura. Rajan Rizvi has been described as the state general secretary of the SP Minority Assembly. It is alleged that he was constantly harassing a woman bank employee and sending her objectionable messages.
A case was registered at Mathura’s police station Kotwali on the complaint of the woman. After this, the police took action and arrested Rajan Rizvi from the Kwarsi police station area of Aligarh.
The woman is also accused of stalking.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Aashna Chaudhary said the woman bank employee had lodged a complaint against Rajan Rizvi. It is alleged that he was constantly harassing the woman and she was also being followed.
