The BJP won the Nagina seat. What did Mayawati say on Chandrashekhar’s victory in the last election?

In Uttar Pradesh politics, rhetoric is getting louder ahead of the 2027 assembly elections. Now Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has directly targeted Nagina MP and Azad Samaj Party chief Chandrashekhar Azad. Mayawati has also made serious allegations about the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, questioning the political base of Chandrashekhar Azad.

Mayawati claims that Chandrashekhar Azad has no support base of his own. He alleged that in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had made Chandrashekhar Azad win the election by tampering with the EVM in the Nagina seat. Mayawati alleged that the Nagina MP works at the behest of the BJP.

Mayawati also raised questions on the politics of the movement

Mayawati also questioned the politics of Chandrashekhar Azad’s movement. They allege that instead of providing justice to the victims, the Nagina MP organizes sit-ins and protests. This leads to cases being filed against the youth. Mayawati has appealed to the people of the Dalit community in particular not to be misled by Chandrashekhar Azad.
