Controversy over Akhilesh Yadav’s visit to Bulandshahr, SP alleges that program cancelled due to lack of permission, minister says former CM does not want to go

Lucknow: There has been a controversy over Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav’s visit to Bulandshahr. The Samajwadi Party alleges that the tour has been cancelled due to lack of permission. Samajwadi Party spokesperson Udayveer Singh said that Akhilesh Yadav was supposed to go to Bulandshahr to hold a booth workers’ conference. Earlier, there was a program of August 22, but the district administration said that the Kanwar Yatra is going on, when it is over, then permission will be given. After this, the program of September 12 was fixed, but the ground in which the meeting was to be held was not allowed.

SP spokesperson Udayveer Singh gave this information.

The SP spokesperson said that Akhilesh Yadav’s schedule was fixed for September 11 and 12. The press conference was to be held on September 11 and the meeting on the 12th. The program was held in a hotel. The administration had sought permission for the helicopter in the police line on September 11 as the helipad is considered the safest of the police line, but now the administration allowed the helipad on September 12 on a private land. The event was then cancelled.

At the same time, Akhilesh Yadav has posted on X handle that “There is no waterlogging on the helipad in Bulandshahr. By showing only forced cement, mortar and paver blocks, the administration is looking for an excuse to cancel our September 11 event at the secret direction of the government. The truth should be put forward by conducting an inquiry by impartial experts in front of the SP office-bearers. Even if we come by road, will the expressway or the highway or the road be built on the pretext of being bad because all those roads are not really passable? People are asking why helipads and weather are bad only for the opposition?”

Minister Daya Shankar Singh responds to SP’s allegations

Transport Minister Daya Shankar Singh has responded to the SP’s allegations. Daya Shankar Singh said that Akhilesh Yadav does not want to go to Bulandshahr. He just tweets. Look at his record for one year, where did he go? If the SP chief has to go to Bulandshahr, then CM Yogi has built an airport, go there and from there go to the venue by road. Let us tell you that the SP has come into election mode. The dress of the Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha has also changed. Now he will be seen in a red cap with a blue T-shirt and jeans.
